Who we are

Peptyn ("we", "us") provides the Peptyn iOS app, an educational tool for tracking peptide and GLP-1 protocols. You can reach us at support@peptyn.orlyn.ai.

Data stored on your device only

Everything you enter into Peptyn is stored locally on your iPhone in an on-device database and file storage. This includes your protocols, dose logs, injection sites, vial inventory, progress photos, weight, notes, and goals. This data is not transmitted to us. It is included in your device's standard iCloud or Finder backups if you have those enabled, which are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by us. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

Data processed by our services

We use a small number of processors, and none of them receive your health data:

• Subscriptions (RevenueCat and Apple). Purchases are handled by Apple as merchant of record. RevenueCat processes anonymous subscription status tied to an anonymous app user identifier, so we can unlock paid features. No health data is involved.
• AI assistant and vial scanner (optional). If you use the AI assistant or scan a vial label, the text of your question or the photo is sent to our stateless processing endpoint and forwarded to our AI provider solely to generate a response. We do not store your messages or photos on our servers, and they are not used to train models. Requests carry only an anonymous device identifier used for rate limiting and to confirm your subscription.
• Analytics (optional, off by default). If you opt in, we use privacy focused product analytics (hosted in the EU) to understand app usage, such as which screens are opened and whether onboarding was completed. These events never include compound names, doses, or any health data.
• Crash reporting. We use crash reporting to fix bugs. Crash reports are scrubbed of personal and health information.
• Advertising attribution. If you consent to tracking when prompted, we use a mobile measurement partner to learn which ad brought you to Peptyn. Only generic events (such as install or purchase) are shared. No health data is ever shared with any ad network.

App Tracking Transparency

On first launch we ask, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow tracking for advertising measurement. If you decline, we do not track you across apps or websites, and attribution falls back to Apple's privacy preserving SKAdNetwork.

Your rights

Because your health data lives only on your device, you are in control of it at all times. You can edit or delete any entry in the app, and deleting the app erases the local database. For data handled by our processors (subscription status, optional analytics), you may contact us to exercise access, deletion, or objection rights under laws such as the GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the Washington My Health My Data Act. Children

Peptyn is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date, and where required we will notify you in the app.
